60 ปี องค์การเภสัชกรรม จากรากฐานภูมิปัญญาไทยสู่การพัฒนานวัตกรรมยาระดับโลก

องค์การเภสัชกรรม ก่อตั้งเมื่อ 5 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2509 โดยรวมกองโอสถศาลาและกองงานเภสัชกรรมเข้าด้วยกัน โดยมีสถานะเป็นหน่วยงานรัฐวิสาหกิจภายใต้สังกัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุข เพื่อผลิตยาและเวชภัณฑ์กายในประเทศ ลดการนำเข้าจากต่างประเทศที่มีราคาสูงและเพื่อสำรองยาและเวชภัณฑ์ไว้ใช้ในประเทศให้เพียงพอ โดยมี ดร.ตั๋ว ลพานุกรม เป็นผู้วางรากฐานงานเภสัชกรรม ตลอดระยะเวลา 60 ปี องค์การเภสัชกรรมได้พิสูจน์บทบาทการเป็นเสาหลักด้านควาบมั่นคงทางยาของประเทศ และพร้อมเดินหน้าอย่างไม่หยุดยั้งในการพัฒนายาและนวัตกรรมใหม่ และยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตคนไทยอย่างยั่งยืน
